107km Ilara-Ilase Road: An undeniable evidence of a Senator’s love for his people

A Slow Food Advocate, Prince Elijah Asade has lauded the efforts of Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola (Yayi) at facilitating the inclusion of the abandoned construction of the 107 Kilometre Ilara-Ilase road in the 2025 national budget, saying it is an undeniable evidence of his genuine love for the entire people of Ogun West.

Prince Asade who also a Beekeeper and Social Entrepreneur from Ìká Orílé in Ketu area of Yewa North, Ogun West has said that the construction was a critical road solution needed in Ogun West.

He said the completion of the Ilara-Ilase road construction will definitely become the long awaited lasting solution to the day to day plight of commuters.

“The road when completed” according to Prince Asade, “in addition to becoming the last solution, will facilitate the Economic Growth of the entire area as it will attract investments, reduce unemployment, and stimulate economic growth in Ogun West.

Prince Asade stated further that “once the road project is completed, it will improve also the district’s transportation system by navigating access roads, reduce travel time, improve safety, and increase connectivity between border residents of both Nigeria and Bénin Republic.

“It will also reduce post-harvest loss being recorded by farmers in the area”.

He recalled a total of Seventy-Eight (78) developmental projects across the District which were facilitated by Senator Olamilekan Solomon Adeola among which were roads, hospitals, schools, electrification, and trade-friendly markets.

Prince Asade however called for massive support towards maintenance of the Senator’s developmental projects across the District.
