Fisayo Soyombo the so-called investigative journalist has revealed reason behind his serial libelous reports against Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun.

Soyombo made the revelation in the concluding paragraph of his story titled, “Breaking: IBD suspends Daily Turkey Smuggling after FIJ’s investigation” by saying, “Dende, meanwhile could be nursing a 2027 Ogun State governorship ambition. An active Twitter account exists for that pupose. Its most recent tweet was on February 11”.

It is evidently clear that Soyombo has not been investigating anything rather relied on hearsay.

His source of information in this case is also fake just like the Jide he mentioned in his earlier fake report.

Anyone in Yewaland, and Ogun State in general would never agree with Soyombo that Chief Ibrahim Egungbohun is nursing any ambition for 2027.

Soyombo has let the cat out of the bag, making it easier for people of curious mindset to know that he is just a fiddle in the hands of politician who are out to destroy whatever repute he might have gathered over the years.

Any interested individuals should carry out a survey to proof this statement wrong that Chief Ibrahim Egungbohun has never dream nor nursing ambition to become the governor of Ogun State.

Journalism ufortunately is fast becoming a tool in the hands of feeble minded and ignorant so-called investigative journalists in the class of Fisayo Soyombo.

Nigeria Press Centre, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Nigeria Guild of Editors and other well-meaning Nigerians at this stage should call Soyombo to order; to stop him from dragging the noble profession in the muds.

Meanwhile, Soyombo and his sponsors should get ready to defend all the defamation in the court of law.
