2027: APC Door-to-Door Team inaugurates Ogun Central Branch, endorses Tinubu, Adeola, Abiodun

The Ogun Central Chapter of APC DOOR TO DOOR TEAM, a frontline support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been inaugurated in a colourful and well-attended ceremony that demonstrated unity, strength, and political resolve.

At the close of the event, the group announced three major endorsements ahead of the 2027 general elections:

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for a second term in office.

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) for Governor of Ogun State.

Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State for the Ogun East Senatorial seat.

Speaking on the resolutions, the Convener of the APC DOOR TO DOOR TEAM, Hon. Niyi Opeibi, a Senior Legislative Aide to the President of the Senate of Nigeria stated:

“We are fully committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and will deliver 278,614 votes for his re-election in 2027.

“In the same spirit, we shall mobilize massively to ensure 86,093 votes for Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun’s senatorial bid and an overwhelming victory for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi as the next Governor of Ogun State.”

Hon. Opeibi hinged the endorsement of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi on his unprecedented record of service and transformational leadership, outlining seven compelling reasons:

1. Infrastructure Development – facilitation of modern road networks to boost connectivity and commerce.

2. Commerce and Trade Advancement – building of markets to empower traders and foster prosperity.

3. Healthcare Delivery – provision of modern health centres to reduce maternal and child mortality.

4. Educational Support – consistent scholarships and sponsorship for undergraduates of Ogun State origin.

5. Grassroots Accessibility – inclusive, people-oriented leadership style.

6. Legislative Experience – proven effectiveness as a distinguished legislator at state and national levels.

7. Capacity for Continuity – ability to consolidate on the current administration’s achievements while charting new frontiers for progress.

The group used the opportunity of the inauguration of Ogun Central Chapter to announce the change in name from APC Door To Door Team to DOOR TO DOOR TEAM YAYI. The team will henceforth be known and address by the new name.

DOOR TO DOOR TEAM YAYI explained that its projected vote pledges were carefully calculated based on the number of polling booths across Ogun State and would be delivered through the aggressive door-to-door canvassing strategy for which the group is widely respected.

The team reaffirmed its resolve to mobilize, sensitize, and galvanize support across all wards and local governments in Ogun State to secure resounding victories for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, and Prince Dapo Abiodun in the 2027 elections.

Political bigwigs across Ogun Central were led to the occasion by Alhaji Fasiu Ajadi, Hon. Olufemi Allen Tailor, a former member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Dr (Mrs) Adesola Sobule Okuseinde to mention a few.

The political bigwigs were unanimous in their celebration of the Door To Door Team for strengthening democracy at the grassroots and for their resolve to take to the field again to ensure total victory in the next general elections for all candidates that will emerge as APC flag bearers .
