Chief Ibrahim Egungbohun IBD Dende

In an uncontrollably mourning, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun (IBD Dende) has been tensed over the sudden demise of his last man standing; father-figure, Chief Wahab Ayinla Egungbohun (Baba Ode) who returned to his maker in the early hour of Tuesday, 9th July, 2024.

The foremost Freight Forwarder lamented the oversize shoes left behind by Otunba of Ebute-Igbooro, the father of Hon. Haruna Wahab Egungbohun (Assembly Member representing Yewa North II State Constituency).

“For decades, my uncle assumed, faithfully, the position of my late caring parents.

“You can’t understand my feelings about Baba Ode’s sudden death.

“After Allah, for me, it has been Baba Ode.

“Unfortunately, I can’t query Allah, otherwise, why must He allowed Baba Ode to leave me alone at this trying time when I am been faced with lots of challenges here and there.

“Whatever was responsible for his shocking death has caused me an irreparable and colossal loss.

“Come what may, something is sancrosant; and the thing is, may Allah repose his gentle soul in Jannatul Firdaus.

“I was about to board a flight when the destabilizing call came ringing which commanded my return home.

“How I wish it turns out to be not. Well, I can hope only in Allah”, Chief Egungbohun submitted to Allah’s will.

Since about 9:00am Tuesday, it has been “all roads leading to Ebute-Igbooro” as his remains is planned to be committed to mother earth in a couple more hours.
