As part of his Corporate Social Responsibility, Dr. Marc Austin, Chairman, PWAN Group has begun construction of a modern medical center at Irete-Ijebu in Odogbolu Local Government of Ogun State.

The idea which was conceptualized by the Monarch of the town, the Onirete of Irete-Ijebu, Oba Dr. Abdulganiyu Olusegun Awokoya-Yesufu, and some notable sons of the area during a meeting with Dr. Austin at his Lagos office will further engender development of the town.

The conception which was fast becoming a reality has saw two hectares of land allocated for the project as requested by Dr. Austin being cleared by his company and, according the monarch was a good way to start the celebration of a year coronation anniversary of Onirete of Irete-Ijebu.

Speaking during the inspection of the site-clearing, Oba Awokoya-Yesufu, who pointed out that, the project is one of many that are still coming to the town, said that, the medical center when completed would address the heath need of the people of the town.

“This project is one of many developmental projects that are still coming into Irete-Ijebu. This is just the beginning of many good things that are still going to happen in our town.

The medical center when completed will surely address challenges that our people are facing as a result of shortage of health centers to cater for their health needs.

“I will use this opportunity to call on foreign investors to come and invest in this town. Ijebu-Irete is very peaceful and people here are very accommodating and friendly”, Oba Awokoya-Yesufu posited.

On his own, the Chairman, Anowoneyo Area Community Development Committee ( ACDC), Otunba Saheed Dosumu, while appreciating the Chairman of PWAN Group for contributing to the development of the area, implored him to continue the good work with assurance that people of the area would always give him the necessary support.

Responding, Dr. Marc promised to continue to partner with the community in its developmental stride with assurance that, the medical center when completed would be equiped with modern health facilities.

Also present at the meeting were, the Odofin of Irete-Ijebu, Dr. Salau Adeyemi and the Secretary of ACDC, Missionary Jubreel Nourodeen.

However, the one year coronation anniversary of Oba Dr. Awokoya-Yesufu which comes up between September 27th, 2022 and October 2nd, 2022 would feature cultural/traditional day, medical/health and novelty match, environmental day, youth and women lecture amongst other interesting events to mention just a few.
