Fashion Show: Adeyemi set to promote Adire Culture, boost Ogun economy

Adeyemi Heritage, the renowned organizer of the Ogun Adire fashion show, is gearing up to host yet another spectacular event aimed at promoting the rich Adire culture and bolstering the state’s economy.

Speaking, Adeyemi in Abeokuta, the capital, urged both private and local companies to take advantage of the platform to promote their products and services.

Adeyemi stated further that the highly anticipated fashion show, which is scheduled for August 2024, promises to be a grand affair celebrating the unique artistry and craftsmanship of Adire makers, fashion designers, fashion houses, models, artisans, and more. He said also that the event aims to provide a comprehensive showcase of the diverse talent present in Ogun State and beyond, adding that “Adire, a traditional Yoruba textile art form, has gained international recognition for its intricate designs and vibrant colors”.

Adeyemi noted that the show aims to not only preserve and promote the cultural heritage but to also stimulate economic growth by attracting both local and international attention to Ogun State.

Small and Medium scale fashion industries are hereby urged to take the advantage of the fiesta to promote their products and services.

“As this signals a significant opportunity  to showcasing varied fashion products, forges new partnerships, and reaches a wider consumer base.

“Fashion designers, fashion houses, Adire makers, models, artisans, and enthusiasts are encouraged to prepare themselves for this upcoming extravaganza”.
