Grandeur, Magnificence as UK-Based MHP becomes Yeye Bewaji

It was a height of standing ovation during the installation of a UK-based Mental Health Practitioner, Chief Mrs Abimbola Ebo-Adeniji as the Yeye Bewaji of Ilobi town by His Royal Majesty, Oba Saliu Adedokun Ajibade, the Ojikutujoye the Second in Yewa South LGA, Ogun State.

The installation which was the highlight of His Majesty’s 20th Coronation Anniversary, held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the heart of the town, witnessed the attendance of the Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun Ph.D, government functionaries from both Ogun and Lagos states, amidst mammoth gathering of who’s who in the society.

HRM Oba Ajibade urged the newly installed Yeye Bewaji to continue to impact positively on the lives of the sons and daughters of Ilobi town.

Accepting the chieftaincy title, the Yeye Bewaji expressed her deepest appreciation to HRM Oba Saliu Adedokun Ajibade, Council of Chiefs, and the entire residents of Ilobi, as she promised to continue to add value to Ilobi heritage.

Other newly installed Chiefs included, Prince Olugbenga Adebayo Ogunbiyi (Asoludero of Ilobi), Hon Chief Mrs Ramotallah Akinola (Iyalaje of Ilobi), Chief Lateef Saminu (Babaloja of Ilobi), Chief Mrs Bushirat Okanlawon Akinlotan (Iyaloja of Ilobi), Chief Fatai Idowu ( Asipa of Ilobi) and Chief Dauda Hassan (Babalogun of Ilobi).

Among the Dignitaries at the event were Senator representing Ogun West at the National Assembly, Senator Solomon Adeola represented by Prince Femi Dokunmu, MHR ‘Tunji Akinosi, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, Honorable Commissioners Adijat Adeleye and Funmi Efuwape, Former MHR Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro (KLM), Barr Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola, Chairman, Yewa South LGA, Representatives of Yewa Paramount Ruler, HRM Oba Kehinde Olugbenle flanked by other Traditional Rulers, as well as notable captains of industries.
