Lady Abeje Folalu stayed here as a motherhood icon, prophetess of God – Chief Egungbohun consoled lawyer, siblings

The renowned freight forwarder, Chief Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun, sympathising with his lawyer, Barrister David Olaoluwa Folalu, siblings and the entire family, has described the late Lady Mary Abeje Folalu JP nee Jenfa (fondly called Iya Wolii) as a motherhood icon and exceptional prophetess of God.

Chief Egungbohun issued the tribute on Saturday, 15th February, 2025, moments after the remains of Lady Folalu was committed to mother earth.

The unusual philanthropist cum farmer said Barrister Folalu’s mother has lived a worthwhile life; “Mama came, saw and conquered”!

He also said that Iya Wolii was a mother every woman should emulate.

“Mama was an epitome of every impactful definition. My wish is for all women to take after her sterling examples”, he extolled.

Chief Egungbohun quoted a portion of one the Holy Books, when he said “by their fruits, you shall know them.

“Look at her children”, Chief Egungbohun referenced, “they are all Omoluabi personified.

“Mama was one of the few motherhood icons I have known. Her passing on at this time is indeed painful.

“Unfortunately, death is inexorable, hence, I enjoined Mama’s children; my lawyer, his elderly brothers; Hon Oluwafemi and Pst Ebenezer, his younger sisters, Pa Israel Folalu JP (Mama’s husband) and the entire bereaved family, to take heart, and be consoled in the fact that Mama Abeje has served her Creator faithfully, now returning to Him in peace and good accountability”, Egungbohun consoled.
