Lagos Actors Guild of Nigeria gets Caretaker Committee as Udofia becomes President’s spokesperson
The National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Dr Ejezie Emeka Rollas, MON has set up a four-man Interim Caretaker Committee to steer the affairs of the Lagos State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria.
According to an e-signed press release by the AGN Director of Communications, Kate Henshaws, consequent upon a resolution reached at a crucial meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC), it was held that an interim caretaker committee be set up to run the affairs of Lagos State Chapter of the Guild pending the result of the probe panel.
Hence the appointment of the following persons as members of Interim Caretaker Committee for Lagos State Chapter: Femi Durojaye – Chairman; Eric Obinna – Secretary; Blessing Anthony Ani – Finance Director; Oluchi Amuneke – Member.
“The Committee is mandated to conduct membership verifications exercise and also to facilitate the relocation of the Secretariat to Lagos State capital in line with our constitutional provision.
“The National President enjoins members to give maximum support to the Caretaker Committee, while he regrets all inconveniences this latest development may cause members of this Chapter”.
Meanwhile, the National President, Dr Ejezie Rollas MON has appointed Ambassador Cornel Udofia as his Spokesperson.
Speaking on the appointment, the CEO Chris Iheuwa Movie Entertainment Legend, congratulated the appointee, adding that he is confident in his ability to deliver.

atotoDaily recalls that the appointment of the Interim Caretaker Committee was necessitated by the lack of activities of Lagos Chapter as the body awaits report from the National Probe Panel investigating the crisis that emanated from the botched election on 20th July, 2024.
