Minister of Police Affairs visits Akwa Ibom Police Command, stresses collaboration with sister agencies

The Honorable Minister of Police Affairs (State), Imaan Suleiman Ibrahim, fsi, CIPS, MSPSP, FDMSS, f.hcd, fpi has reiterated the Commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed hope agenda towards making the country a more secure and safe place.

According to the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Timfon John, Anipr, the Minister also spoke on the Welfare of Police officers which she noted is on the front burner of the Nation’s top priority.

Akwa Ibom Police CommandThe Minister gave these assurances over the weekend when she visited Akwa Ibom State for an official tour of some Federal Government Facilities

The Minister upon arrival at the Victor Attah International Airport proceeded to the Marine Police, Oron, Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron, Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Jubilee Ikot Abasi, as well as Marine division, Ikot Abasi Local Government Area.

In her address at the sites visited, she emphasized the importance of professionalism, collaboration among security agencies, community policing and continuous capacity building of officers and men for a better and safer society.

The Minister was received by the Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State Command CP Waheed Ayilara represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Baba Mohammed Azare fsi, and the entire management team.

Also on hand to receive the Minister were Commodore M. Fakrogba, Commander, NNS, Jubilee Ikot Abasi, Emmanuel Duja Effedua, Rector Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron as well as the OC Marine Police, SP Ekanem A. J. Thjj uuhi
