Remembering Pa Francis Abayomi OYEDELE; a simple teacher who simplifies Physics, Mathematics

Pa Femi OYEDELE’s sons; Oluwadamilare and Oluwasegunfunmi expressed appreciation for the unquantifiable investment of their father in their lives. It’s indubitable that any brains in which Physics and Mathematics – two of the three most volatile subjects – find convenience, certainly deserve due recognition.

One of such finest teachers was Venerable Oluwafemi Abayomi Francis OYEDELE, an “embodiment of Physics and Mathematics SIMPLIFIED”.

Speaking during his burial service held at the African Church, Cathedral of Jehovah Jireh, Ilaro in Yewa South LGA, Ogun State, the Diocese’ Arch Bishop of Ogun Province of African Church, Most Rev’d S.O.B Ojumu said, the dexterity with which late Oluwafemi Abayomi Francis Oyedele applied himself – ‘the knowledge of Mathematics and Physics’ – to the real world would make anyone sees this planet a simple ONE to live.

Late Oyedele gave his best to the development and growth of humanity; he gives freely to a fault.

“I would implore the wife of the deceased, Mrs Remilekun Oyedele to be more prayerful, as well, the children to take good care of their mother and strive to achieve and surpass the enviable repute of their late father”, says Rev’d Ojumu.

Late Venerable Oyedele retired as a Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Ifo, at the State Ministry of Education in April 14, 2004.

He was a Special Marshal with the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and also a member of Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) and Nigeria Football Association (NFA) respectively.

Late Francis Oyedele, 63, born on the 29th of March, 1960 at Infant Welfare Centre, Ifo to late Joseph Ayinla Oyedele and Chief Mrs Ayoka Elizabeth Oyedele, survived by wife, Mrs Remilekun Oyedele, two sons; ‘Dare and ‘Segun, as well as grandchildren and in-laws.

In her lamentations, Mrs Oluwaremilekun OYEDELE, said the transition of his beloved husband was a tragedy she couldn’t bear.
