Senator Adeola @55: Chief Egungbohun”s perspective
His beaming countenance says it all; no sooner had he raised his four folded fingers and a tilted thumb up as his unspoken perspective than he said, “I’ve got to hand it to my brother, Senator Solomon Adeola”.
Chief Ibrahim Egungbohun (IBD Dende), commenting on the life sustaining empowerment packages presented to thousands of people of low means to mark the celebration of the 55th birthday of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola CON, FCA, FCTI , has described the “Aremo of Yewaland” as “a politician of unparalleled timeline”, saying his unrelenting willingness to take dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of his constituents, and Nigerians, is unbeatable”.
Speaking further to atotoDaily on the event which took place on Saturday, 10th August, 2024 at the Empire Ground, Ilaro-Yewa, Ogun State, Chief Egungbohun said when he looked into the political activities of Senator Adeola, it became clear to him that “everything the ranked Senator has been doing is a revelation of his mindset solely based on ensuring eradication of poverty from people’s lives”.
Chief Egungbohun’s “perspective” about Senator Solomon Adeola” can’t be tagged as irrational, no. The community leader has proven that he “made the assertion at a point when” he “lost count of his people’s blessings as being facilitated by Senator Adeola (my brother) in the last one year in particular; “a comprehensive overturn of the age-long narrative of the entire Ogun West domain”, as he described it.
“I have seen how he facilitated the construction and rehabilitation of many drainage-anchored roads, blocks of classrooms to all tiers of educational institutions, boreholes, healthcare centres, town halls, locked-up shops, motor parks, provision of step-down transformers and varied social sustenance inputs he has been given to tens of thousands of residents across the five local governments of Ogun West, the entire Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole.
“In all sincerity, my brothers and sisters in the politics of Ogun West have also been doing their best in projecting our dear land to an enviable progression. Above all, I think, this magnitude; today’s and previous empowerments by Senator Adeola have been a timely and deserved complement to the contributions of all our political office holders in recent times.
“Marking his 55th birthday today, August 10, 2024, with the avalanche of means of livelihood given to the downtrodden at this era of global financial instability, no doubt, my good brother, Senator Solomon Adeola has lightened our people’s face; provided an enduring source of income even to the unexpected underprivileged. I’ve got to hand it to him.
“May the God of ancient King Solomon (1 Kings 3:12-13) look down from heavens once again and bless my dear brother Solomon of today beyond that of the wealthiest monarch as I wish him many more birthday celebrations on earth in good health, amen”, Chief Dende Egungbohun prayed.
