Yewa Descendants Union UK, Ireland donates furniture to schools

‘Education is the bedrock of any society’, this saying informs the on going contributions of a frontline Yewaland socio-cultural union in the United Kingdom and Ireland, Yewa Descendants Union (YDU) to making schools across Yewaland conducive for learning.

Yewa Descendants Union UK and Ireland has extended its on going classroom furniture intervention programme to Ijoun-Yewa, where the pupils of Yewa North Local Government Primary School 1, Oja-Ijoun and E.A.C Primary School, located in Ile-Ijoun became latest beneficiaries.

Yewa Descendants Union UK and IrelandThe initiative is one of the ways members of Yewa Descendants Union in the United and Ireland have been giving back to their fatherland.

The President of the Union, Deacon Kayode Amosun at a recently held Yewa Day in London, an event of Yewa Descendants Union UK and Ireland pledged continue support of the union for Yewaland to accelerate growth and development.

Yewa Descendants Union UK and IrelandSpeaking on behalf of the benefitting schools, the headteacher of Yewa North Local Government Primary School, Mrs E.O Soyebi applauded Yewa Descendants Union UK and Ireland on behalf of the staff, the Parents Teachers Association and the pupils for supporting the education of the pupils in two schools.

She solicited for more support for the schools to make them more conducive for teaching by the teachers and for learning for the pupils and prayed for divine support and progress for members of Yewa Descendants Union.
