Yewa Unity Cup Final set for April 13th as Oba Olugbenle donates Kits for Semi-finalists
The Yewa Unity Cup has reached its decisive stages as the competition narrows down to the last four teams: Owode, Itoro, Alaari and Ilara.
After weeks of intense battles on the pitch, the youth championship is set to resume with thrilling semi-final clashes on April 5th, 2025 at Ado Odo and Ayetoro town. The tournament, organized by the Yewa Youth Association, has garnered significant patronage and attention from traditional rulers, football enthusiasts, and numerous stakeholders.
The competition has witnessed fierce contests among Yewa towns, with each match showcasing skill, determination, and sportsmanship. As the championship nears its climax, excitement is building for the grand finale, scheduled for April 13th, 2025, at the Gateway International Stadium in Ilaro-Yewa.
With the semi-finals set to deliver top-tier football action, all eyes are now on the road to the final, where the ultimate champion of this edition will be crowned.
The organizers, the Yewa Youth Association, have extended an open invitation to football lovers, community members, and dignitaries to grace the grand finale and witness history unfold at the Gateway International Stadium. The planning committee also extends their heartfelt appreciation to all Yewa sons and daughters who have contributed to the success of the tournament so far.
Oba (Dr) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, in a significant show of support for youth and sports development, recently donated jerseys and kits to the last four teams. This gesture highlights the commitment of the Paramount Ruler to empowering young talents and strengthening the bonds of unity through sports in Yewaland.
